Bringing Community Together
Our historic venue, which has been a cornerstone of the community since 1892, continues to bring enriching cultural experiences to residents and visitors alike. This summer, we are thrilled to announce our production of the beloved musical “Annie”, featuring local talent including students who attend our annual spring and summer children’s theater camps.
The Friends of the Opera House is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization on a mission to preserve the building as a historic center for the presentation and promotion of the performing arts and activities that celebrate our sense of community.
Thanks to your support we are able to:
- Enhance production quality & cover increased production costs such as licensing, lights/sound, live pit band, costumes, building a set, etc.
- Provide a platform for local talent, offering them the resources, education and opportunities to shine.
- Engage and enrich our community by making theatre accessible to a wider audience at affordable ticket prices.
- Preserve and maintain our historic venue
