A Note from Your Creative Team
Our production of Newsies will be cast based on talent, energy, and storytelling, not traditional gender casting expectations. While many of the Newsies are traditionally played by boys, we are excited to cast strong dancers, singers, and performers of all genders in these roles. If you bring the spirit, athleticism, and heart of a Newsie, we want to see you! If you are under 22 (approx.), please select the Newsie character you are most excited to play regardless of your gender identity. This helps us understand where you see yourself in the story. Bring your talent, bring your individuality—and watch what happens!
